We are at AgreFest organized by a great team (Agre Hub ) in Şirince on August 14th.

We will talk about "Hybrid Models" together with Gozde Sevimli, from whom we learned a lot in the field where cultural events intersect with gastronomy, and Derya Çağan, who does very important work in this field in Urla and its surroundings, and whom we also hosted at the Bozcaada Jazz Festival - Discovery events (Bozcaada Viticulture Fund) in 2025.

"Hybrid models that bring together cultural events and gastronomy in the same experience are everywhere today: festivals set tables, vineyard roads turn into stages, gastronomy meetings produce their own cultural programs.

But why do these models work so well? What does food add to a cultural event, culture to a gastronomic experience; how it transforms the audience, the space and the local economy? In this conversation, we are looking for the recipe for a good hybrid: how gastronomy is embedded in cultural programs, the cross-collaboration and marketing opportunities that open up between events, venues and meetings, why these once niche experiences are now being discovered and so popular, and how this interest can go from being a temporary trend to a permanent approach."
