During Bozcaada Jazz Festival and KEŞİF gatherings, it was truly valuable for us to come together with wonderful people to reflect on Bozcaada’s 4000-year-old viticulture heritage and to share our dreams and concerns around the same table, under the moderation of Serdar Paktin (pakt | cultural discovery | london). We were deeply honored to have the Mayor of Bozcaada, Mr. Yahya Göztepe, with us. We were also delighted that Martijn Blom (Impact Europe) joined us in Bozcaada and contributed to our gathering. We sincerely thank all participants for their presence and support.

In this first gathering, while reflecting on the heritage of viticulture, we also had the chance to listen to inspiring talks from different fields. Our co-founder Cagil Ozdemir (3dots) spoke about the value of Bozcaada’s viticulture and the motivation behind this meeting, while Can Atacik (Alethina Impact) shared insights into the logic and details of innovative financing. Funda Sezgi explained how Norrsken provides knowledge, networks, and capital to entrepreneurs who prioritize social impact, and Zeynep Sinem Özyalçın highlighted how Türkiye Turizm Tanıtım ve Geliştirme Ajansı | Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency can contribute to promoting Bozcaada’s viticulture heritage.

Hande Güventürk (Posamas) spoke about how grape by-products can be utilized, while Ömer Çiftçi (SolarToday Türkiye) and Orkun Aşa (Hummingdrone) shared how software and engineering technologies can be leveraged to preserve and develop viticulture.
