As part of the May 19 Youth and Sports Day, Istanbul Youth Music Days was held for the first time in 2025 by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Department of Culture. It is a concert series designed to give young musicians the opportunity to make their voices heard, gain visibility in public spaces, and connect with diverse communities. For this event, were commissioned by the Department of Culture (İBB Kültür).

Throughout this event, we conducted interviews and observations with young musicians and audiences, as well as social media analyses and archival research. Based on these, we prepared a Societal Transformation Analysis aiming to understand the event’s impact on various stakeholders and its interactions with youth, culture, and public space policies in Istanbul.
