INSPIRE is a capacity-building project under the Ministry of Industry and Technology’s Competitive Sectors Program, funded through EU–Türkiye cooperation. Led by the General Directorate of Development Agencies with support from the Istanbul and Izmir agencies, its goal is to strengthen Türkiye’s creative economy. Launched on February 14, 2024, INSPIRE supports sustainable, effective policies and better coordination between public institutions and creative businesses through Policy Labs and Masterclasses.

The project highlights the importance of creativity in economic growth, digital transformation, and social development. It builds the capacity of cultural and creative industries, encourages collaboration across sectors, and supports new skill development. INSPIRE aims to increase the global competitiveness of Türkiye’s creative entrepreneurs and position the creative economy as a driver of sustainable development.

March 11, 2025 – INSPIRE Project Briefing Session, Ankara:

We joined the INSPIRE Info Day in Ankara, where stakeholders discussed policy-making in the creative economy. The event presented new research on Türkiye’s creative economy and assessed the sector’s current landscape.

The first Creative Economy Periodic Sector Report, to which we contributed, has also been published. Our contribution appears in the section “Current State of Creative Economy Governance and Management,” which maps existing structures and provides a data-informed basis for decision-makers.
